The Research and Development Department has always been core and “jewel” of the Bolognese company, as a matter of fact Commendator Vittorio was a brilliant and estremely well-prepared engineer.
Moreover, since the beginning of the 90s, the collaboration with Yamaha brought new know-how to Motori Minarelli engineers, as well as the possibility of a constant comparison with the Japanese colleagues.
The R&D
department is equipped with new
sophisticated instruments, such as the
roller test benches with exhaust gas
analyzer, which allow to perform very
accurate tests on the complete vehicle
and to analyze the gas emissions
simulating the vehicle driving
conditions.
